East Bay Speech Pathology, Inc. we offer speech and language therapy to children placed into special education through the IEP process. We provide therapy to children grades TK-12. We provide therapy in a a 1:1 individual session, small group sessions and through consultation services. For direct therapy we use both pull-out and push-in models. We treat, specifically, receptive and expressive language, pragmatics (social skills) and articulation/phonological disorders. Many of our students also have a primary diagnosis of ADD/ADHD, emotional disturbance or autism.

CONCUSSION CARE now including baseline and post-mTBI testing
Our SLPs specialize in education, assessment, diagnoses, treatment, team management, and ongoing monitoring as well as timelines regarding return to play. Our SLPs are critical members of the rehabilitation team working with children with mTBI (mild-moderate-severe brain injury) and concussion. SLPs can also provide unique insight into the cognitive and linguistic challenges of these students and can serve to bridge the gap among rehabilitation and school-based professionals, the adolescent with brain injury, and their parents.
